Purpose:
Determine a band's leader by analyzing a publicity photo.
Disclaimer:
A band's inclusion on this blog reflects neither an endorsement nor a criticism of its music. This post is merely intended as a spotlight on the inner political workings of a collection of individuals who are in the midst of a cooperative, creative endeavor.
The Process:
You, dear reader, please answer the question, "Who's in charge here?"
After sufficient discussion has taken place, a verdict can then be passed based on a majority vote.

Band: Jet
Genre: Rock

Voting ends on: Monday, July 6th, 9:00am CST (GMT-5)
THE VERDICT (Updated!)
Voting has ended.
Second Left, With The Nose - 7 votes
Stripes, Leather Jacket - 1 vote
Far Left - 1 vote
Very lopsided vote this time around. I think With The Nose might have enough clout to give the small, yapping dog from Grizzly Bear a run for its money. With The Nose, you are in charge!

Geddy Lee, second from left. He's forcing Elton John out of the left of the picture and keeping the striped-shirted Demetri Martin safely behind him.
striped shirt and beck's kid brother are sooooooo not in charge. white-shirt guy could be, but my vote goes to the tiny-dot-shirt guy in the foreground.
I'm betting the two guys on the left argue a lot, but they ultimately go with what tiny dotted shirt guy says, and then the guy on the far left gets drunk and bitches about tiny dot guy.
So, my vote's for tiny dotted shirt guy in front.
With a band name of Jet I thought the guy with aviator's glasses might be in charge. Then I looked closely at him and realized he would be lucky to know which end of a jet was the front.
Pilot in training 2nd from the right in the stripes and leather jacket is the leader.
wv:dalick = what daleks do with their tounges
The John Lennon wannabe in the front.
2nd from left, spot shirt person, not sure but I think it's the pout.
He looks like he's sucking lemons too, leaders do that a lot I've noticed.
Jet was one of my favorite songs on the Paul McCartney & Wings album (one of my first purchases), so in keeping with the Beetles theme, I too am going with the John Lennon wannabe.
Striped shirt sort of reminds me of Keith Moon, so let's call him the drummer. Tiny-dot-shirt guy briefly hypnotized me with that pattern next to the stripes, but then I came to and realized that he sort of looks like Keith Moon from a different year. So he's the drummer too.
That leaves the bookends. Far left gets the nod from me because of the Elton John shades and Mick Jagger posture. Let's call the guy on the far right another drummer. Why not?
Second left, with the nose.
