Purpose:
Determine a band's leader by analyzing a publicity photo.
Disclaimer:
A band's inclusion on this blog reflects neither an endorsement nor a criticism of its music. This post is merely intended as a spotlight on the inner political workings of a collection of individuals who are in the midst of a cooperative, creative endeavor.
The Process:
You, dear reader, please answer the question, "Who's in charge here?"
After sufficient discussion has taken place, a verdict can then be passed based on a majority vote.

I'm tempted to say "X Marks The Spot," but she's covering up, almost like she's embarrassed. The other chick, well... she's proudly displaying her She-Mullet for all to see, as a leader is apt to do.
I think the non-exed one. She has clearly coerced her cloneinto putting an x on her face.
the strength of her jawline made me vote for the one on the right, the x is just a confirmation for me.
I cast my vote for the one with no "X", although my gut feeling is that they share authority and that X-less is in charge by a slender, occasional thread.
When twins are in the womb, very often one will outcompete the other for nutrients and position and the like. This twin usually ends up physically larger and could be said to be in charge in the womb. One could see where this cominance would continue throughout life.
The one on the left has far more meat on her bones than her bony twin sister. She also can grow nicer hair, as McGone pointed out.
She therefore was the dominant twin and is still in charge in their joint musical endeavor.
I can't explain the red X on her face.
Tegan. No, Sara! No, no, Tegan!! No, S...yeah, Tegan. No, Sara! Oh, I don't know. The one on the left.
This one is just too hard.
The one on the right. I believe that's Tegan.
I'll go with the one on the right, as it seems to me she is channeling her inner Mary Stuart Masterson from Some Kind of Wonderful...
