Purpose:
Determine a band's leader by analyzing a publicity photo.
Disclaimer:
A band's inclusion on this blog reflects neither an endorsement nor a criticism of its music. This post is merely intended as a spotlight on the inner political workings of a collection of individuals who are in the midst of a cooperative, creative endeavor.
The Process:
You, dear reader, please answer the question, "Who's in charge here?"
After sufficient discussion has taken place, a verdict can then be passed based on a majority vote.

Band: Los Campesinos!
Genre: Rock
Website: http://loscampesinos.com/
Voting ends on: Monday, July 12th, 9:00am CST (GMT-5)
THE VERDICT (Updated!)
Voting has ended.
Here is the tally:
Goatee Mojo, Middle: 2 votes
Dark Red Hair: 2 votes
A tie, once again. Mr. VP, how do you reckon it?
"Ooh, this is a nice one. Yes, there is a vanishing point. However, the band member at the locus of this vanishing point is not sharply in focus. This *severely* undercuts the authority he holds within the group dynamics of the picture. Since he can't be in charge, I must go with the other candidate, Dark Red Hair."

rear and center + goatee mojo wins the prize
The photo would indicate that it is the gentleman at the back of the picture since all lines of bandmates converge on him, but I can't shake the feeling that he is a decoy. It's too obvious. The real leader is the dark red hair, second from left.
Two words: vanishing point. I have fallen for the decoy. It's the dude in the rear.
none of the guys are in charge, they're not even in focus. mia sara (right) was in charge in the 80's, now it's kari byron. dark red hair gets my vote.
