The Changcuters

Purpose:

The Process:
You, dear reader, please answer the question, "Who's in charge here?"

The one in the middle.
He's got that authoritative tilt of the head.

I second the guy in the middle... he's not all that happy about playing along with the "We just got off an assembly line at the Lame Factory" photo idea.

ditto middle man.

His toes point in whilst everyone else's point out. It's like that thing w/the Beatles crossing the street.

Who knows maybe if you play the record backwards he's dead too.

When an odd number line up, it's always the one in the middle who is in charge.

I'm going against the consensus view, and am voting for Gradient-tinted-Foster-Grants-guy (second from right). He's the only member who has eyes, and is therefore in charge. The rest are blind Hispano-Chinese automatons. White-belt guy (second from left) is clearly the drummer.

i too noticed Jess's 'toe pointing' observation (also the only one with hands behind him, instead of to the sides), and likewise thought of the Abbey Road thing. Rhubarb pointed out the sunglasses thing for the guy 2nd from right. Other than that it's pretty tough picking a winner out of an assembly line. (and nice catch on the white belt - i didn't spot that one).
I suspect Lott's psychology is spot on, but if i were able to appoint a leader rather than just guess which one actually is, i'd go with far right because his clothes appear to fit.

Blah I need more sleep. My deleted comment was riddled with spelling mistakes. I vote for the guy that convinced them all to go with the over done theme of "Assembly Line"

A Jaded Girl, you shouldn't have deleted that comment! I was seriously considering renaming the blog to Who's In Charger Here? :).

Are they not all the same person? I can't tell the difference.

I think it's the guy second from the left. His face shows far more determination and desire to succeed than the others. The guy in the middle reminds me of one of my students in Japan called Shinichi, and he was a little troublemaker, so it can't be him.

I agree with rhubarb. Whie the man in the middle appears to be in charge, Foster Grants Mullet Man seems the more capable of leading a band.

This week's "who's hotter?", which will be posted shortly, is Cillian Murphy vs. Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

I vote for the middle guy. And I'm not going to say why, because one or more of the Changcuters will probably show up and I will feel like a mean, mean person...

Guy in the middle!
Have a great week!

The one with the white belt, 2nd from left. It's like that "spot the different one" game from Highlights. And the different one must be in charge.

i agree this one is a spot the difference game, but which one of the differences counts? from left to right:

1) tallest, strongest looking, narrowest stance

2) white belt, best posture

3) shortest hair, widest stance with toes pointing in, hands least visible

4) visible eyes

5) straightest hair, a little more effeminate.

all that said, it's still not clear, so i'll guess #4 with the visible eyes.

The guy in the middle is the only one not showing his hands. What's he hiding back there?

Clumps of his bandmates' hair. It's Arseny!!!! Check the hairstyle on the middle guy and scroll down to have another gander at the Not Called Jinx photo. It's the same guy. This is why the Changcuters and Not Called Jinx have never toured together.

Arseny in the middle is in charge.

i'm going for white belt guy simply because i like the way he's standing. good posture means so much, don't you think?

It's hard, because he's trying to blend in like at a police line up, but it's far right Det. Spotchy.

I'm thinking the one far right. He seems to be the only one that got the stance correct without some body or clothing malfunction. See:

1st left: his jacket is WAY too tight. No creases.

2nd left: Cover your belt, dude!

center: pigeon toed, head tilt, hands in wrong place. He thinks he too good for Changcuters.

2nd right: he's standing awkward, with his shoulders at a bad angle.

I think far right came up with this picture idea, practicing it for hours, even days in the mirror, prior to presenting it to the band. They band may not have liked it, evident with how they look, but they did it knowing that he's the boss.

the guy with the glasses

The bow-legged one in the middle. He looks like he gets t ride all the chicks, if that's his thing.

Has the stray band member gone now?

I struggled a bit, I thought about glasses man as no shades, seeing the eyes, but then I reverted to the lore of the guinea pig and think the man with the white belt has a higher chin so he is in charge.

#2 - Mr. Whitebelt.

I believe it's the person standing in the middle. I'm not sure, he just has the "authority" look going for him. :P

The second from the left, I reckon
