I am going to take a risk and say the analysis of the band photo this week was mildly influenced by ZOOEYMANIA. But, a vote is a vote. She is in charge!

I would let Zooey Deschanel be in charge of everything if it came right down to it. Right now she's leading my elevated heart rate.
I would totally see the band if it was just She. But Him? Not so much.

I have to say that today I eschew patriarchial hierarchical dichotomies and say they both are. He sorts out the food, the bus and the bookings, she is really good at keeping accounts, remembering where they are supposed to be and keepig the artistic focus.
Female movie star and real musician combine for duets? Remember when Gwyneth Paltrow recorded that duet with Huey Lewis for that movie about the Karaoke tournament? Me neither.
Anyway, if the guy were in charge, the band would be called He & Her. Zooey's in charge.

Zooey may be the front woman, but she always looks to him for support and reassurance.
BTW, Splotch - When I click to embiggen the picture for more Zooey goodness I instead see the crotch in the stairwell from last week.
Tracie, keep in mind that the voting is centered around the photo posted. I am more interested in determining who is in charge in the photo, not necessarily who is really in charge.

Zooey reminds me of a jingle "ooey gooey rich and chewy inside, golden tender cakey flakey outside..."

Zooey Deschanel was a contestant on the Ultra Mundane Alternative Indie Girl Tryouts. She's also parlayed her Indie success into a movie career. Simply put, she's a game changer. She's in Charge.
As in Mumford and on the Heart of Gold, Zooey's in charge.
She led Arthur around the universe. She led a former police man, a half-wit former inventor, and a beasty telepath around the Outer Zone. Now she leads this duo. Seems like a natural progresion to me.
