Hoobastank

Purpose:
Determine a band's leader by analyzing a publicity photo.

Disclaimer:
A band's inclusion on this blog reflects neither an endorsement nor a criticism of its music. This post is merely intended as a spotlight on the inner political workings of a collection of individuals who are in the midst of a cooperative, creative endeavor.

The Process:
You, dear reader, please answer the question, "Who's in charge here?"

After sufficient discussion has taken place, a verdict can then be passed based on a majority vote.

Band: Hoobastank
Genre: Hooba-Stank
Website: http://www.hoobastank.com/

Voting ends on: Monday, June 14th, 9:00am CST (GMT-5)

THE VERDICT (Updated!)

Voting has ended.

Here is the tally:
Grant Imahara: 1 vote
Outside Man: 1 vote

A tie, with only two votes. Mr. VP of the United States *hates* to be woken up for ties, especially with so few votes cast. I'll do it, though. Mr. Biden? Mr. Biden?

"Thank you for sharing your thoughts and taking the time to write me.

This is an extraordinary moment in our nation's history and having the benefit of your views is helpful in shaping our Administration's agenda.

Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts and I encourage you to stay engaged and invested in your government."

Um, okay... Well, you heard it here first, folks.

We have a John Cusack lookalike playing Ms. Pacman. That immediately eliminates the two on the bench, as they are waiting for John Cusack to finish playing Ms. Pacman. Once Cusack gets his high score, it'll be time to go and the benched guys won't have even gotten a turn to play.

But then you have the guy standing outside looking all serious. He's the one who made the decision to blot out the name "Ms. Pacman" from the top of the machine in the picture for licensing reasons. He's the one who won't let the other two play because it's time to go and enough with the Ms. Pacman already. He's angry because the photographer took the picture before he could partially conceal himself behind the machine and/or Cusack.

He's in charge.

I love that you wrote to the Vice President of the United States of America. Good job. That's being a real go-getter. I like your spunk, Mister.
